TC women rally in second half for 2 point win
Midland - According to the Temple Daily Telegram, the Temple College women's
basketball team rallied from a five-point half-time deficit to defeat Cochise (Ariz.), 65-63
Friday in the Midland Classic. The Lady Leopards (3-2) rebounded from an 85-59 loss to
nationally top-ranked Midland on Thursday. Tamarra Ringer led all TC scorers with 13
points and Brandice Farmer scored 10 to go along with 5 assists. "It was sloppy, but we'll
take it," TC coach Kim Sebek said. "We were able to come back after being down at
halftime and that showed a lot about out team.. I think we may have been a little tired
from yesterday's (Midland) game." TC will play Barton County Community College
(Kan) today at 2pm.
