PSI BETA INDUCTS MEMBERS
Temple College inducted 14 outstanding students into Psi Beta, the National Honor Society for
Psychology for Community and Junior Colleges, on Nov. 14.
The students recognized for outstanding academic achievement were Joshua Barnard, Latrisha
Nava, Donna Quinn, Stacy Ray, Regina Salisbery, Beth Sloan, and Teola Watson, all of Temple;
Mystie Barlow, Sherry Parker Chapman, Nelda Matney, Amber Washburn, and Cynthia Watts
all of Belton; Monica Dohnalik of Cameron and Jamie Fox of Cameron.
Dr. Sharon Burson, chairman of the department of psychology and sociology, is the local
sponsor.
Psi Beta is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the
American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society. The Temple
College chapter sponsors programs, activities, and participation in community service projects.
Members also are eligible to present research papers at regional meetings, attend national
meetings, and compete for national awards.
