System Integration Manager

Description of Business Environment:

The role will be responsible for leading the Applications Migration team to successfully transition 200 business applications into the transformed environment within budgeted cost and schedule.

The responsibilities include the overall planning and management of the Discovery,

Application migration and decommissioning of associated extant environment and planning and coordinating with a diverse stakeholder group; customer, industry partner and LMA.

Managing large teams of subcontractors and LM employees, the role will develop technical and management strategies and solutions, manage budget and schedule, ensuring performing teams are executing to plan. The role will also be responsible for the management of Risk and Opportunities.

Specific Job Description:

Program management of the Applications migration effort.

Customer relationships management and coordination.

Identify, build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise.

Ensure strong communication with Defence on transformation program status and progress, and to ensure dependencies on Defence and Other IT Contractors are closely monitored and managed.

Manage and coordinate the customer engagement team to establish open lines of communication with Defence customers and users to ensure minimal disruption and maximum customer satisfaction.

Full Spectrum Leadership of industry partners and employees.

Ensure the aggressive schedule of migration activities is complete on time with minimal disruption to Defence.

Manage assigned budgets to ensure achievement of program financial objectives.

Manage application migration risks and opportunities to ensure schedule and cost impacts are minimised.

Anticipate, identify and resolve complex program level risks and action items.

Responsible for managing the migration of workloads from extant defence systems

(spread across over 150 regional sites) into the new consolidated data centres.

Responsible for the decommissioning and disposal of assets from regional sites.

Ensure a coherent system level technical approach to meet customer requirements, including the preparation for, and conduct of Mandated System Reviews to be conducted with the customer.

Lead the business to develop and maintain appropriate Application Remediation delivery/performance management systems, processes and resources (including IT tools) so that there is successful delivery of work.

Participate in technical and program reviews at varying levels with LMA and LM

Management, customers and subcontractors.

Represent LMA in working level governance forums for the program

Execution of Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives

Effective management and coordination with LMA datacenter infrastructure personnel and support technical services personnel

Required Skills :

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Lockheed Martin’s objectives.

Significant experience working in the Defence IT industry, and solid understanding of

Defence IT Security practises

Experience leading application development or migration efforts

Extensive experience working on IT transformation programs

Significant experience in IT Program Management, including the management of large teams in an IPT environment

Direct hands on experience running complex Defence IT programs

Significant experience in employee supervision and performance management

Demonstrated ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment

This position will be based in Australia but open to UK nationals who have SC

Typical Minimum Education & Experience :

Ideally require Bachelors degree from an accredited college and capability typically achieved through extensive professional experience. Will also consider individuals with equivalent experience / combined education.
