The Irs. is considered by many as out of control.
Many Honest Americans live in fear of the IRS. My
children and myself were stripped of our family home
because of Taxes not paid by my husband. The Justice
department admitted to me that the home was in fact
mine (settlement for divorce and that he owe the tax
not me) but the IRS. took $202,000.00 of the
$238,000.00 forced sale price anyway. Why because
they can.
A federal sales tax would insure everyone pays their
fair share and the American taxpayer would be
protected from the IRS and the many laws that can
cause
problems like mine.
