Objective: The student will be able demonstrate their understanding of living and
nonliving organisms and their needs through the use of Publisher.
Procedure:
 Open the Word document containing the directions for Creating Brochures with
Publisher. Save to the SHARED server for students.
Students:
 Open the Word document containing the directions for Creating Brochures with
Publisher
 Create a brochure
1. Identify the habitat and its location
2. Identify living and nonliving organisms in the habitat
3. Identify at least one food chain/food web in the habitat
4. Identify any modification to the physical environment to meet the needs of
the living organisms
