Honors American Literature – Mrs. Baumann
1. Complete the “Observations and Conclusions” handout. Your answers can be in your own
words or you can use direct quotes from the text. Make sure to look up the scene in each
chapter.
2. Complete the “Appearances vs. Reality” sheet. Don’t over think this one. When a name is
listed, usually a character is pretending to be someone else. Simply write down the real
character’s name. For the King and Duke, you may refer to them as “old con man” and
“young con man.”
