Our research topic is about smart phones, in which we outline the uses, the pros, the cons, and
the general history behind smart phone. This project is intended to inform people as to why
smartphones could be a part of their daily life. Some of the pros of smartphones are that they have
applications comparable to many computers, GPS systems, web access and other useful tools on them.
However we don’t want to leave people uneducated about the drawbacks of smartphones. We have
found several things that smartphone users have had complaints about, such as hard to read screens
and limited coverage to name a few. We also cover what a smartphone really is, the minimum
processing requirement to have a regular phone be called a smartphone, and the history of the
smartphone. We hope that the reader comes away with a general understanding of smartphones so
that they can make educated decisions about smartphones in the future.
