Scholarship Guidelines:
1.
Applicant must be an undergraduate woman and a Science, Technology,
Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) focused student.
2.
Applicant must plan to earn a minimum of a four-year degree (for example, BS or BA) and have earned 30 or more hours of credit.
3.
Applicant must have minimum grade point average of 3.0.
4.
Applicant must submit completed application form, transcript(s) of college work and two (2) letters of reference. At least one reference must be from a faculty member. One may be from a present or past employer. Include letters from your references with your application in sealed envelopes signed by reference over the seal.
5.
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of San Diego County.
6.
If there are materials the applicant considers pertinent to the application, an extra page or pages may be included in the application packet.
7.
Deadline for application is FRIDAY, MAY 27, 2016.

Scholarship recipients will be expected to make reports on their progress.
Awards are based on financial need and an expressed interest in further education in a
STEAM field. Applications will be treated confidentially. Scholarship recipients’ names will be published. Verification of enrollment in an educational program is required before money is disbursed.
