New course proposal package for
MPH 7201, Introduction to Survey Methodology
Thank you and the GCC members for reviewing this new course proposal and for the comments
you provided at the January 16, 2013 meeting. With this memorandum, I am submitting a revised
new course proposal package for Introduction to Survey Methodology. Please note that after
consultation with Lloyd Novick and Suzanne Lea, Chairs of the Department of Public Health and
the DPH Curriculum Committee, respectively, I have changed the number of this proposed
course from MPH 6028 to MPH 7201.

1. GCC Proposal Form,
2. Supporting documentation
a. Registrar verification
b. Notification of proposed course to Departments of Psychology, Sociology and
Biostatistics
3. Marked catalog copy of MPH courses, including MPH 7201, and
