My idea is a self-driving car. Since driving is one of the most dangerous things we do on a day-to-day
basis, I think this idea would be extremely beneficial to the safety of the nation. Light sensors would be
attached to an RC car so that it can follow a line in the middle of the road. There would also be a sonar
sensor on the front of the car so that it will stop when there is something blocking the way. I plan to
implement this using an FPGA to control the movement of the car based on the feedback from the
sensors.
