This template is provided as a guide for creating a contact message specifically for
use with ResearchMatch. Submit this to the IRB, along with a description of the
ResearchMatch recruitment tool (found on the ResearchMatch website), as either
part of an initial protocol submission or as an addendum.
Please remove any of the fields below that do not apply to your research study.
The information entered must match the information provided to the subjects in the
consent form and be in layperson language.

PRESERVES ANONYMITY OF BOTH PARTICIPANT AND STUDY TEAM UNTIL THE
PARTICIPANT CHOOSES TO RESPOND TO A RECRUITMENT INVITATION. THE
INITIAL PARTICIPANT RESPONSE OCCURS DIRECTLY THROUGH ResearchMatch,
THEREFORE NO CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
OR ANY OTHER MEMBER OF THE RESEARCH TEAM CAN APPEAR IN THE
LANGUAGE USED FOR THE INITIAL RECRUITMENT INVITATION.

and pasted onto the ResearchMatch website. The space provided for the
contact message is limited to 2000 characters. YOUR RESEARCHMATCH
