revolution possible. By taking a logical approach to questions, scientists made faster progress. The
study of science would be impossible without the scientific method.

Form a hypothesis (an educated guess based on the background research) 4) Perform experiments to
test the hypothesis 5) Analyze the results of the experiments 6) Draw a conclusion
