Activity 4: Homework
1. Suppose you have a microphone and computer-based data analysis system available to you, as
you did in the lab activity. The computer can display the microphone signal as a function of
time. Assume you make a single clicking sound with your tongue and then say "ahhh" for a few
seconds. Describe the difference in the displayed signal that you expect.
2. The figure below shows a snapshot of a pressure measurement for a periodic sound wave.
