09:00 - 12:00  To analyse and adopt the key
components of gifted education
curriculum/programme models: ICM,
Enrichment Triad and 5E Model
- Example units will be employed to
highlight the essence of the models that
tie in with critical thinking, creativity and
personal and social development, and
how they are incorporated into KLA
units (Science, Math, English)
- Seconded teachers will be invited to
present the units they designed.

classroom for meeting learner diversity
and nurturing gifted students through
whole class instruction
- rationale and teaching strategies such as
Socratic Seminar, tiered assignment,
