Course Objectives
This course aims to achieve the following objectives.
1 To understand the fundamentals of antenna theory.
2 To expose students to examples of applications and various antenna types including linear and planar
microstrip configurations.
3 To understand the relation between the transmission and reception of antenna signal.
4 To improve the design and problem solving skills
5 To perform antenna measurements.

2 Understand the different types of antennas and the radiation mechanism
