Online Application Instructions
Fall 2016 Deadline: June 30, 2016
• Binghamton University has established an online application system using ‘Terra
Dotta’ Software. Dual Diploma students who plan to attend Binghamton University
starting fall 2016 will create an online account and use this system to complete
the required paperwork, and track the status of their Binghamton application. We
hope you will find these instructions helpful with this process.
• The Fall 2016 deadline is June 30; your online application should be complete by
this date. Please contact Valerie Chou at the Binghamton Dual Diploma office at
ddiploma@binghamton.edu with any questions regarding how to access the system,
complete the requirements, and to review the status of your application.
A Letter from Dual Diploma Program (DDP)
• In November, DDP will mail each one a letter, which contains your
Binghamton University (BU) email address and B number. You will need
both information to activate your BU accounts and DDP online application
account.
• If you don’t receive this letter by December 15, please contact your
adviser(s).

Manage your Binghamton University Computer Account
STEP 1:
Go to https://password.binghamton.edu.
STEP 1:
Go to the password homepage at
https://password.binghamton.edu
STEP 2:
Click on the blue “Activate Password” box.
STEP 3:
Enter your User ID and the e-mail address you supplied with
your application.
STEP 4:
An initial password will be sent to your supplied e-mail address.
STEP 5:
Proceed to the "Manage Your Binghamton University
Computer Account" section.
STEP 2:
Click on the green “Manage Account Profile.”
STEP 3:
Enter your Binghamton User ID and the initial password you
received via email, or when your faculty/staff account was
created.
STEP 4:
You will be prompted to accept the Binghamton University
Computer and Network Usage Policy.
STEP 5:
Create a new password and two security questions and answers.

• For more information on activating
STEP 1:
Now, create your separate BMail account password by
clicking on the orange “BMail Password Reset” box on
https://password.binghamton.edu and logging in with your
Binghamton University Computer Account User ID and
password you just established.
• If you have any questions on activating
STEP 2:
Enter and confirm a new BMail password following the rules
displayed on the page. We strongly recommend you choose a
different password than the one created for your
Binghamton University Computer Account. You should see
a confirmation that you were successful.

In the email, please include your full name, B
number, and your question(s).
Create and Manage Your
DDP Online Application:
Go to the Dual Diploma Program website: ddp.binghamton.edu
Click “Admissions” (in the right-hand column, under “Tuition and Fees”)
To apply, please click on the program in which you are enrolled in Turkey to
start the application process.
To start your account,
select Apply Now:
Select “I have a Binghamton University
username and password,” and select “Submit”
Your BMail will become your
‘username’ for every time you
log in, and will be the email
where you receive updates
from the Terra Dotta system
and the Binghamton DDP
office
Therefore, please check
your Bmail on a daily basis!
• You will see a pop up asking if you want to create an application; select OK
You will select the
term you are applying
to start at Binghamton
University, and select
“Apply”
You will be taken to your
application page. This page will
show you:
 The application status (PreDecision)
 Your application Deadline
 The different pieces that

must be completed
*After we receive your
documents, you will see a check
next to the document.
A. Material Submissions are
marked as “received” by the
Binghamton Dual Diploma
Programs office. Please allow
5 business days for the Dual
Diploma office to receive and
update your account for any
forms

All of the pieces must be marked as received by the deadline
B. The Signature Documents are
marked as “received” you open
the documents, read the
important information provided,
“Click Here to Sign Digitally,” and
select “Accept.” The items will be
date and time stamped, and you
will be able to see when you
completed this step
 C. Application Questionnaires are
marked as “received” when you open
the questionnaires, answer all of the
required questions, and select
“Submit”
 The Binghamton Dual Diploma
office staff can send you emails
 To confirm when items have
been received and your account
has been updated
 To request additional or
corrected information
 When your application is
completed and you have been
“accepted”
• You can log out at the top right of
the screen, using the link in the
grey bar
Access to Your Online Application
 Go to the Dual Diploma Program
website: ddp.binghamton.edu
• Enter your BMail for the Username, and your
personalized password
 Click “Admissions” (in the right-hand
column, under “Tuition and Fees”)
 Click on the program in which you are
enrolled in Turkey.
 Click on the “LOGIN” link
• You will be taken to your account home page.
You can then select on the link to your
application.
