Course Outline: This course introduces fundamental principles and applications of chemistry for science
majors. The first eleven chapters of the textbook will be covered.

15 % Final Grade
The workshop is mandatory. Workshop leaders will assign grades based on participation and
attendance.
Activities (On-Line Assignments)
25 % final grade
All on-line activities must be completed by the scheduled due date. No time extensions will be given for
missed assignments.
