Deadline for SFCC Teacher Certification Program Nears
Santa Fe, NM, Monday, Nov. 14, 2005 — The application deadline for Santa Fe
Community College’s teacher certification program is Friday, Dec. 9, for the spring 2006
semester.
SFCC’s Teacher Academy offers certification coursework in early childhood, elementary,
secondary and special education as well as an endorsement in bilingual education. Upon
graduating from the teacher certification program, students are eligible to apply for a level-one
teaching license through the New Mexico Public Education Department.
Application packets are available at the teacher education department on the SFCC campus, 6401
