Résumé
__________________________________________________________________________
Directions
1. Follow a format. See samples, templates, or examples brought to class. Use
spacing and indenting according to the format of your choice.
2. Use action verbs to indicate job duties and other experience, but be consistent in
verb tense: e.g., assisted customers, counted cash, wrote instructions for …, etc.
3. IF you are currently in a position, use present tense verbs: e.g., assist customers,
count cash, write instructions for…and so forth. (See list of action verbs following
directions.)
[If you have no job experience, see me for help.]
4. Proofread and proofread again for accuracy. No typos or grammar mistakes.
5. Use font size 11 or 12 point.
