LAr Signal Processing for SLHC
It’s likely that front end boards for LAr will need to be
redesigned to meet radiation tolerance, rate and shaping
requirements for SLHC.
SiGe bipolar is being explored for the inner detector offers a
potentially ideal technology for a next generation front end.
Low rb  good noise performance
Hi Gm/Ic  best current gain vs power technology.
Mixture of bipolar with CMOS  excellent for analog design
Lateral PNP’s ?? Possibly rad hard enough for LAr.
