Finance Committee Meeting Minutes
March 26, 2008
8:00 p.m. – Executive Office
I. Call to Order
Christina Jack called the meeting to order at 8:12.am.
II. Roll Call
Present: Tom Connolly, Janice Watanabe (Present for Harold Tyler), Christina
Jack, Hong Tran, Vivian Amezcua.
III. Approval of the Agenda
The agenda was approved as presented
IV. Approval of the Minutes
The February 7, 2008 minutes were approved as presented.
V. New Business
(5.1) Elections
Motion to spend up to $500.00 from AS Elections (71 - 836102) for any items
needed by the election committee.
Moved by C. Jack, Second by V. Amezcua. Motion passes.
(5.2) Academic Awards
Item was tabled to next meeting.
(5.3) SSCCC Conference
Motion to transfer $1,000.00 from the Representation Fee Technology
Management Systems account (72 -56422) to the Representation Fee
Conferences account (72 – 55229). Motion to approve up to $2,500 from the
Representation fee Conferences account (72 – 55229) for 6 students and one
advisor to attend the SSCCC spring general assembly May 2 – 4, 2008.
Moved by C. Jack, Second by V. Amezcua. Motion passes.
(5.4)End of the Year Banquet
Motion to approve up to $2,000.00 from the AS Year End Banquet account
(836110) for the end of the year banquet.
Moved by C. Jack, Second by V. Amezcua. Motion passes.
(5.5) Corona Del Camino
Motion to approve $1,000 from the Corona Del Camino Club account (81 –
842241) and $300 from the AS Corona Del Camino account (71 - 836441) for
the Corona Del Camino event.
Moved by C. Jack, Seconded by V. Amezcua, Motion passes.
(5.6) Graduation Emblems

There was discussion about which account graduation stoles would be taken
from. The decision was to poll the general body to find how many were
graduating and then make a final decision. Action was tabled to the next
meeting.
VI. Adjournment
Meeting adjourned at 8:32 p.m. The next meeting was scheduled for Wednesday
April 2, 2008 at 8:00am.
