including title and artist. You must
also explain in 3+ sentences per
song which part of the book the
song would be played in and why,
considering the mood and theme.

Write a multiple entry (3+
paragraphs) diary that one of the
story's main characters might have
kept before, during, and after the
book's events. Remember that the
character's thoughts and feelings
add to point of view.

Literary Scrapbook
Write a one page scene (at least)
where a character from your book
is interviewed. Use dialogue with
thoughtful questioning so the
character has the opportunity to
discuss his/her thoughts and
feelings about his/her role in the
story and write responses that
character would realistically give.
Give a book talk or play a book
trailer for the class, explaining
author, genre, characters, or the
beginning plot. The book talk
writing about these elements
should total at least three
paragraphs. Finally, read an
exciting, interesting passage from
your book. The book trailer should
be at least one minute.
Make a scrapbook that displays all
the major literary elements of your
novel. Must include definitions and
examples of plot, character,
setting, point of view, types of
conflict, problem, solution,
protagonist, antagonist, and
theme.

On Wednesday, DEC. 16, 2015 a book report assignment is due. Absolutely no late work will be accepted. Complete
three squares in a row- horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. You will turn this paper back in with your projects, SO DON’T
LOSE IT! Remember that your book choice needs to be a book on your reading level and may NOT be a movie and MUST
be a NEW read. Books need to be read as an individual and not a class novel.
