1. Respiration:
Respiration is the process by which an organism provides its cells with oxygen for
metabolism, and removes carbon dioxide which is produced as a waste gas.
2. Oxygen concentration
The amount of oxygen (as a percent) available within the environment atmosphere.

Answer:
Respiration is the way that living things use food energy to provide
cells with the necessary power which allows them to function. Therefore, no life would exist
without it.

the amount of time that plants photosynthesize?
Answer:
Plants respire all day long (24 hours). Photosynthesis only occurs when high
quality light is shining on the leaves.
