MULTICULTURAL VIDEO PROJECT SET FOR 2005 – 2006
The Institute for Multicultural Research and Social Work
Practice is pleased to announce that it will sponsor and support
students interested in completing multicultural videos during the
academic year 2005 - 2006. The Institute has limited funds,
but it wishes to encourage and support student in whatever way
it can. We do not have sufficient funds to pay for individual
projects, but we will try to put together workshops to help
students learn how to produce and edit multicultural videos. We
are interested in hearing from you. Let us know what types of
training you need and want, or what types of services you are
interested in. Based on input from interested students, we will
hire someone to provide some training.
All social work students are invited to participate. You may want
to produce a multicultural video project for your final MSW
culminating experience, or you may want to do something as a
course assignment or for personal and professional interest.
Regardless, baccalaureate and graduate students are welcome to
participate. If you are interested, and if you have ideas for
workshops and training, please contact Rita Takahashi at
ritatak@sfsu.edu.
