5. General Course Objectives:
Instruction for advanced hands on training for students on the skills and procedures
required for complete automotive refinishing. Applies specialized techniques in
complete automotive refinishing on live jobs
6. Specific Course Competencies
Upon completion of ABRP 44G the student should be able to:

Identify and describe safety and health hazards related to the handling and
usage of the base coat/clear coat urethane refinishing systems.
Describe and demonstrate special procedures for preparation of a vehicle
for a complete paint job with base coat/clear coat materials.
Demonstrate and explain techniques for the application of a complete
refinish job using a base coat/clear coat refinish system.
Identify and determine special problems related to the application of these
systems and demonstrate the corrective procedures that must applied to
insure an acceptable finish.
