for fruit crop covering structure construction; put in the posts;
erect above-ground structure; set up the wires; and repair

1.1
Materials, tools, and equipment needed and appropriate to the task being
undertaken are selected.
1.2
Fruit crop covering structure design is checked in accordance with workplace
procedures.
1.3
Fruit crop covering structure is described in terms of functions, materials, and
construction methods.

2.1
Construction activities are carried out safely in accordance with workplace
procedures.
2.2
Block is measured and post sites are marked according to crop type and
support structure.
2.3
Holes are dug and posts are erected in accordance with covering structure
specifications and workplace procedures.
Range:
may include but is not limited to – hand dug holes, machine dug
holes, post driver, post injector.
2.4
End assemblies are erected in accordance with design specifications and
workplace procedures.
2.5
Tools, equipment, and machinery are cleaned and maintained in accordance
with workplace procedures.

Durable material is selected according to design specifications and the
particular use and structure.

Above-ground covering structure is erected in accordance with construction
specifications.
3.4
Tools, equipment, and machinery are cleaned and maintained in accordance
with workplace procedures.

Wires are run and fixed in accordance with design specifications and workplace

Wires are tensioned in accordance with workplace procedures.

Covering material damage is repaired in accordance with manufacturer's
specifications and workplace procedures to maintain integrity of the structure.
