Outcome 2 Complete and process required health and safety scaffolding industry forms. Range notifications, inspections, registers. Evidence requirements 2.1 Complete scaffolding industry health and safety notification forms. 2.2 Complete scaffolding industry health and safety inspection documentation. 2.3 Complete scaffolding industry health and safety registers. Outcome 3 Describe PPE in the scaffolding industry. Range PPE includes but is not limited to – hard-hats, boots, clothing, eye protection, safety lines, belts, harness. Evidence requirements 3.1 Describe PPE to be carried by scaffolders in industry. 3.2 Describe and explain use of PPE in industry. 3.3 Describe and explain maintenance and inspection of PPE in industry. Outcome 4 Interpret legislative requirements that relate to public protection in the scaffolding industry. Evidence requirements 4.1 Interpret the legislative requirements for catch fans in terms of their relevance to health and safety in the scaffolding industry. 4.2 Interpret the legislative requirements for screening and containment sheeting in terms of their relevance to health and safety in the scaffolding industry.
