standards listed above.

Summary
In 2015, NQS initiated the review of unit standards from the Teaching domain. Despite
low usage these standards were revised and rolled over in 2012 to allow for a review of
secondary/tertiary interaction.
These standards have historically been used to assess practicing teachers for award of
the New Zealand Diploma in Specialist Subjects (Secondary Teacher) Division 2. The
standards have not been used and the qualification is no longer being awarded so the
decision was made to expire them.
