Request for a Waiver of NAEYC Accreditation in FY15 (or an approved alternative)
Districts can request a one-year waiver from NAEYC Accreditation activities (or an approved alternative).
The Department will approve any waiver received for fiscal year 2014-2015 (FY15) accreditation
activities.
Districts will be expected to document their plan for pursuing NAEYC accreditation (or an approved
alternative) in FY16.

4. By signing below, the district acknowledges the following conditions of the waiver:
a. This is a one-year waiver;
b. The expectation is that the district will be prepared to return active pursuit of NAEYC
Accreditation (or an approved alternative) in FY16; and
c.
This waiver does not waive districts from NAEYC timelines (or timelines authorized by the
approved alternative organization).
We understand the above conditions that accompany the waiver and hereby request a one-year waiver
from the NAEYC accreditation (or approved alternative) requirement in FY15.
