Deborah J. Street
Deborah J. Street is currently serving as Head of the Department of Mathematical
Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney. She has written many different
research papers during her career, many of which deal with the topic of block designs.
Some of the topics of the papers include optimality, orthogonal main effect plans, and
factorial designs.
One of Deborah J. Street’s greatest contributions to the field of experimental
design, is the book that she co-authored with Anne Penfold Street. The book,
Combinatorics of Experimental Design was originally published in 1987. The target
audience for the book is higher-lever undergraduate students in mathematics and
statistics. Some of the topics discussed in the book include symmetrical factorial designs,
designs with further balance, and competition designs.
