Policy and Procedures:
*You are expected to be prepared and on task at all times in class.
*Cell Phone use in prohibited unless directed by teacher. If you do not comply
your cell phone will be confiscated
*No food or drink in classroom (Bottled Water is Ok)
Course Description/Objectives
* To study major eras and events in history; gain global perspective; increase
cultural awareness; connect past events to present
* To learn not only content, but master universal skills of learning including
application,
compare, contrast, analysis, evaluation, synthesis,
independent study, and problem solving
* Assignments include tests with essays, outside readings, creative writing
lessons, warm ups, role play, quizzes
* Tests will be given after material is presented; assignments will be given at
appropriate intervals. Test days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
