Daily Objective: TSW describe the differences between dislocations, sprains, strains and fractures. TSW review the acronym “RICE” used in first aid for treatment of sprains and strains .

Daily Objective: TSW learn about the functions and types of muscles in the human body.

Follow Up/HW: Review functions of muscles and diseases that affect the muscular system

Daily Objective: TSW learn about how the flexors bring hand movement

Materials: Cardstock paper, straws, beads, string, activity sheets

Follow Up/HW: Review material for test

Daily Objective: TSW describe functions of the musculoskeletal system, label bones of the skeletal system, and distinguish between the various diseases that affect the musculoskeletal systems.

Assessment Methods: Students complete tests independently and turn completed tests in for a grade.
