Dear parents,
We hope you will have a wonderful and restful Winter Break. We look forward to
lots of wonderful learning when we return in January! In science, we will explore
the needs of living things and observe meal worms. In language arts, we will
work on combining vowels and consonants to make word “chunks”. We will
continue to add new words to our Word Wall. In math, we will decompose
numbers and learn about combinations of numbers.

Share Bag for January Share Bag takes place every Friday in Kindergarten. The children may bring in anything that is
interesting or special to them, but it must be in a bag and clues must be written on the bag or on a separate piece of paper.
The children have fun guessing what their friend has brought.

Please be sure to read to your child every night.
When replenishing glue sticks, please buy the bigger ones. They’re easier to use and last longer! 
Homework is due on Fridays.
Books from reading groups are to be returned the very next day.
