Winter Graduation – 10.00 am Thursday 21 January 2016 in the Brighton Dome (Ceremony 1)
It is with great pleasure that I write to confirm the arrangements for your graduation ceremony.
Arrival: from 8.15 am (strictly no entry before this time)
Latest arrival: 9.20 am (to ensure that you arrive in time to register)
Arriving Late - Registration closes at 9.30 am
If you arrive after this time you will be deemed late and will be presented separately from your cohort at the
end of the ceremony. Please therefore ensure that you arrive promptly. If you know that you are likely
to arrive late, please inform the Welcome Desk on 07799 282651.
Start of Ceremony
Guests may begin taking their seats at 9.00 am. Graduands must be seated by 9.35 am at the latest.
Please keep your graduand ticket with you at all times.
Guest and Graduand Tickets
On arrival please report to the Registration Desk by the Dome main entrance with this letter, where you
can collect your graduand and guest tickets. Indicated above is the total number of guest tickets that you
have been allocated (plus any payment outstanding if applicable – cash preferred as this is quicker for you).
Graduands have been allocated a specific seat number and will all sit together in the centre block on the
ground floor of the Dome auditorium. Guests have been issued seats together in the guest seating area of
the Dome – it is not possible for guests to sit with graduands.
Extra Guest Tickets
If you wish to purchase additional tickets you can do so when collecting your allocated tickets (cash
preferred). We cannot always seat your guests together as seats are reserved, but we will try to do so
where possible.
Drinks Reception
Following the ceremony you and your guests are invited to attend a celebratory drinks reception in the
Dome bar with members of faculty. The reception will finish by 1.15 pm.
