Mr. Ingold is a research assistant for the Center for Systems and
Software Engineering at the University of Southern California. His
research interests center around the study of agile development
methods, and the technical, organizational, and communication
characteristics that enable their successful use in projects. Prior to
his research work, Mr. Ingold was a manager at TRW Defense Systems,
and later founded two companies specializing in the development of
C4ISR software and spin-off commercial software. Mr. Ingold received
a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue
University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from USC, and is
presently pursuing a Doctorate in Software Engineering from USC.
