Center for Faculty Excellence Faculty Affiliate Application
Faculty Affiliates are sought to partner with the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) to serve as a
resource and an active participant with other faculty, staff, administrators, and graduate students to
reach the strategic goals of the CFE. AY 2016-17 Faculty Affiliates will be expected to contribute 15-20
hours per semester in completion of the following activities:



Serve as a member of and attend meetings with the CFE Leadership Team
Meet with the Associate Director of the CFE to review goals and activities once per semester
Assist in the design, development, and delivery of professional development, aligned with CFE
mission and goals as follows:
1. Delivery of one workshop in their department/college
2. Develop and conduct a workshop/webinar (determined in conjunction with CFE) for the
BGSU community
3. Lead one conference session at and assist with the planning of the CFE annual teaching
and learning event
4. Serve as a resource for professional development sessions, materials, and support; and
5. Be a faculty mentor within his/her represented area
