Student Fellowship Application
Please provide the information requested below. Answers may be typed or printed clearly.
Personal statements should be typed and double-spaced. Any questions regarding this application
or the Student Fellowship Program may be sent to ACE@liberty.edu. In order for an application
to be considered, one must submit the following: (1) application (see below), (2) your personal
statements (see below), (3) a 5-10 page sample of your writing or some other work in your field
of study (e.g., videos, cd, etc.) and (4) one academic letter of recommendation from a Liberty
faculty member. Please turn this in as one packet to room 109 in the School of Religion.

Personal Statement A
A statement about your faith in Jesus Christ. Your statement should include the following: (1)
How you came to faith in Christ, (2) How Christ has changed your life (150-300 words).
Personal Statement B
A statement about your involvement at LU and in the community. Your statement should include
the following: (1) The nature of your involvement in your local church, (2) The nature of your
involvement in other extra-curricular activities (150-300 words).
Personal Statement C
Include: (1) Description of your career goals, (2) a statement about your writing/research
interests, and (3) any awards received at the undergraduate or graduate level. (150-300 words)
