Rating: 3 M
Position: 2101+5433
Type : Pn
Dimensions: 86" x 69"
Class: 3
Magnitude : 12.0
Observations:
C8 at 65x. A bright star
lies on the line of sight. Use
high power for the best view,
but don't expect to see many
details. It seems that the ends
(N and S) are a bit brighter.
An 11m star lies just S and the
double h1606 (9.3m-10.2m;
18" @ 180) also lies south.
C11 at 115x with O-III
filter. I could not detect it on
a slightly hazy night without
the O-III. It is large and
bright with the filter, and
appears to have two lobes.
On another night, with
somewhat better seeing and
transparency, it was very easy
and large.
Model (where the Sun is a
baseball):
Its diameter would be 349
miles.
