Each night:
Choose ONE item from the menu to complete for homework. Color in the square once
you have completed it. Read and practice your Jolly Phonics sounds EVERY NIGHT!
HOMEWORK MENU
Read a fiction book and a
non-fiction book about
the same topic.
Play a board game or
card game with your
family.
Roll 2 or 3 dice. Write
down the number you
rolled. Then, write the
number that comes
before and the number
that comes after your
number. Repeat 5 or
more times.
Draw and label a picture
of your family.
Draw and label 4 sets of
rhyming objects (cakesnake, bear-chair, housemouse, etc.)
Practice counting by 10s
to 100 or higher. Can you
write the numbers you
counted?
Write a thank you note to
someone who has done
something kind for you.
Make a list of 5 or more
things that you are
thankful for.
Draw a picture of a tree.
Draw a flower beside
the tree. Draw a cloud
above the tree. Draw a
raindrop below the cloud.
Draw a rainbow on the
left and a sun on the
right.
Read a book with
someone. Draw a
picture of your favorite
part. Write a sentence
or add labels to go with
your picture.
Write a menu for
Thanksgiving dinner (real
or imagined). Don’t
forget dessert!
Make patterns using
things in your house.
(examples: shoe, shoe,
book, shoe, shoe,
book…hat, glove, hat,
glove…)
Write the names of the
people in your family
(include extended family
for an extra challenge).
Cut the names out and
sort them into columns
by number of syllables.
Write your numbers
from 1-20 or higher.
