The schedule is based upon a five (5) Days per week, Monday through Friday service.

Mop all restroom floors with disinfectant germicidal solution
Empty and sanitize all waste, sanitary napkins, and tampons receptacles.
Remove all restroom trash to designated areas
Spot clean finger prints, marks, and graffiti from walls, partitions, glass,
aluminum and light switches
Dust all mirror tops , partition tope and edges
Report all maintenance issue to the supervisor or the University Call Center
Machine scrub all flooring. Refinish if necessary
Wipe and thoroughly clean all tile walls and metal partitions

Empty all waste baskets and containers. Replace plastic liners as needed
Vacuum all carpeted areas with upright vacuum
Sweep and damp mop all hard surfaces (stone, terrazzo, vinyl, asphalt,
rubber, ceramic tile, granite paver, etc) dust mop all interior wood floor
surfaces
Dust, wipe clean and sanitize all telephones
Dust all chair rails, trim etc.
Straighten magazines and other reading material on table tops, Align
furniture properly.
Hand dust and wipe clean with damp cloth all furniture, file cabinets,
equipment and window sills, etc. Do not rearrange materials on desks
Clean and sanitize all drinking fountains
Clean all glass furniture tops
Remove fingerprints, dirt, smudges, graffiti, etc., from all glass doors, door
frames, glass partitions, light switches, walls, and elevator call buttons.
Dust all low reach areas including but not limited to, structural and built-kin
furniture ledges, baseboards, windowsills, doors, workstation partitions and
chairs.
Upon completion of the cleaning, all lights are to be turned off. All entrance
doors are to be kept locked during this entire operation.
Spot clean carpets
Spot clean and vacuum all walk-off mats
Sweep and mop all service stairways and remove all debris from roof to
grade
Wash and clean all vinyl cove base
Detail vacuum behind furniture, corners, edges and door jams
Spray buff all hard floor surfaces
Report all maintenance issue to the supervisor or the University Call Center
Wash all partition, cubicle and door glass
Dust Blinds
Dust all louvers, bucks and other ventilating louvers within reach

Move all portable equipment in order to sweep and wet mop the entire floor
area
Remove trash from all waste receptacles and dispose of all plastic waste
liners
Spot wash all walls, doors, windows, cabinets
Clean overhead lights and waste receptacles using a damp cloth
Mop the floor with germicidal solution and allowed 5 minutes before you go
over again
Clean scrub sinks in scrub-up areas with scouring powder applied with a wet
sponge. Wipe clean with a germicidal solution
Remove all portable equipment
Damp clean lights and fixtures with germicidal solution

STANDARD OF CLEANING
Facilities Management is responsible for removing water on
entrances, steps, sidewalks, and ramps, regardless of the time of
incident or severe weather.
Surfaces, including edges, baseboards, and corners, should be
free of dust, dirt, debris, spillage, chewing gum and wax build-up
and have a maintained protective finish.
Surfaces, including corners, edges, baseboards, under
desks/chairs, should be free of dust, dirt, debris, spillage,
chewing gum, and tape and maintained as stated in the
specifications.
All surfaces, including, but not limited to walls, interior
windows, doors, mirrors, chalkboards, desk tops, chair arms,
tables, window sills, should be free of spillage, dust, streaks,
smears, graffiti, heel marks, and cobwebs.
Interior/exterior trash receptacles should be free of debris and
spillage, and be equipped with clean liners.
Mirror and fixtures should be free of water spots, streaks and
smears. Sinks, urinals and commodes should be sanitized, free of
spots, stains, dirt, dust, inside and out, underneath and top and
sides. Paper, soap and sanitary napkin dispensers should be fully
stocked and free of dust, dirt, body etc. Trash and sanitary
napkins receptacles should be free of debris with clean liners.
