Introduction
This document describes where you can find previous versions of Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) files
and plug−ins. You need these files in order to run Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) software for the Cisco
ONS 15454.

There are no specific requirements for this document.
Components Used
The information in this document is based on a Cisco ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the
devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure
that you understand the potential impact of any command.

Files You Require
As the CTC user documentation states:
• Use JRE 1.2.2_05 if you connect to an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1 or earlier.
• JRE 1.3 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Releases 3.0 through
4.5.
• JRE 1.4 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 4.6 or 4.7.

In order to find the JRE 1.2.2_05 version recommended for CTC Software Releases 2.2.1 and earlier, refer to
