RETREAT FOR MEN
The Knights of Columbus are having their Annual Lenten
Retreat on March 10th at St. Anne’s Church from 9:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. It is open to all men in the Parish. Fr. Cris
Graas will lead us in contemplating the Mystery of the
Eucharist, the theme of this year’s Retreat. Fr. Cris Graas
has a doctorate of Theology from the University of Navarra
in Spain and is Chaplain of Ernescliff College.
Registrations for the Retreat will be accepted in the Lobby
after all masses during the week-ends of February 25th
and March 4th, for a suggested donation of $5, to cover the
cost of breakfast, lunch and snacks that will be provided
during the day.

BURNING OF THE PALMS
This year, the Burning of the Palms will
take place on Friday, February 17.
Prayers will begin immediately following
the 7:00 p.m. Mass proceeded by the
burning of the palms outside.

will
help
the
needy
through
the

agencies
of
Catholic
Charities.
ShareLife
also
helps
St.
Augustine’s
Seminary
for
the
education
of
priests
and
permanent
deacons.
St.
Augustine’s
Seminary
was
established
in
1913
and
since
then,
thousands
of
Priests
graduated
(including
Fr.
Ed
and
Fr.
Kim).
The
priests
are
put
at
the
service
of
God,
in
the
parishes
of
the
Archdiocese
of
Toronto.
Also,
money
raised
goes
to
help
our
brothers
and
sisters
in
the
Third
World
Countries
of
the
Continents
of
South
America,
Africa
and
Asia,
through
CCPODP
(the
Canadian
Catholic
Organization
of
Development
and
Peace)
which
was
established
in
Toronto
in
1967,
in
order
to
improve
the
lives
of
the
poor,
by
teaching
them
better
farming
techniques,
so
that
they
can
become
self
sufficient
in
the
production
of
food.
The
Toronto
Pastoral
Mission
\Fund,
helps
improve
the
spiritual
lives
of
the
poor
by
helping
missionaries
educate
seminarians
and
catechists.
Missionaries
are
also
provided
with
funds
to
purchase
vehicles
to
visit
scattered
missions
and
provide
them
with
instruction
materials
Registered
parishioners
will
receive
a
package
from
the
ShareLife
office
containing
a
letter
from
Archbishop
Thomas
Collins,
a
brochure
about
ShareLife
and
a
pledge
form.
Last
year
we
raised
$57,332.71.
Our
Goal
this
year
is
$65,000.00.
I
