This readme provides procedure to install Cisco Prime Collaboration
Assurance/Analytics 10.0 Patch 2 (Service Pack 1)

1. Introduction
===============
Prime Collaboration Assurance/Analytics 10.0 Patch 2 (Service Pack
1) provides support for following:
New Devices:

Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server Control (VCS)
TMS 14.2.x/14.3.x
C_CODEC endpoints loaded with TC 6.3/TC 7.0 image.
Note: MSI based features are not supported due to the
limitations in the image. Hence MSI credential verification will
fail for these images.
New Features:
1)
Customize Endpoint usage period via UI (Reports >
Interactive Reports > Endpoint Utilization Report > Change
Utilization),Endpoint utilization percentage calculates based on
this customized values.
ï User can able to set endpoint availability hours
per a day and days per week and.
ï Endpoint usage period change is supported only
in the endpoint model level.
2)
Added 'Scheduled Duration' and 'Utilized scheduled time
percentage' in Endpoint Utilization Report and All Session Summary
Report.
ï These two new columns shown scheduled duration
and percentage of an endpoint, if no scheduled time will show 'N/A'.
3)
Global QoS threshold value can set to decimal values
(Administration > Alarm & Event Setup > Threshold Settings >
Telepresence Device, Operate>Device Work Center>Select
Endpoint>Threshold Settings).
ï User can able to set threshold values to decimal
values and alarms will be raised based on these values.
4)
MCU port(audio and video) Utilization shown in both
Absolute and Percentage value.
ï User can able to see Absolute port utilization
like 8 out of 10 and the percentage.
5)
False peripheral alarms are suppressed for all Tandberg
endpoints.
ï User can able to see authentic peripheral alarms
from Tandberg endpoints.

2. Prerequisites
================
This patch can be installed only on Prime Collaboration Assurance/
Analytics 10.0.0.40038 or Prime Collaboration Assurance Patch - 1
(10.0.0.41370).
We recommend that you take a snapshot of the VMware instance before
you install this patch so that you have a clean backup in place to
be used if the installation fails.
To verify the Prime Collaboration Assurance version, run the
following command on console (using SSH with port 26) with admin as
the user.
admin#show version

4. Installing Prime Collaboration Assurance/Analytics 10.0 Patch 2
(Service Pack 1)

We recommend that you take a snapshot of the VMware instance before
you start the Patch installation so that you have a clean backup in
place to be used in case the installation results in errors.
To install the patch:
a) Download the patch cpcmpatchbundle-10.0.0.40038-2.x86_64.tar.gz
from the Prime
Collaboration software download page.
b) Copy the patch file to the Prime Collaboration
Assurance/Analytics server under the /root directory.
Example: Use freeware sftp client like 'FileZilla'
to transfer patch file to Prime Collaboration Server and enter below
details in sftp client to connect to Prime Collaboration Server.
Host - sftp://<your_pc_server_ip>
Username - root
password - <your_pc_server_root_password>
Port - 26
c) Log into the Prime Collaboration Assurance/Analytics
server as root using ssh (port 26) and copy the patch file cpcmpatchbundle-10.0.0.40038-2.x86_64.tar.gz
to the repository local
disk as follows
cd /root
cp cpcm-patchbundle-10.0.0.40038-2.x86_64.tar.gz /
localdisk
d) Change the user account from root to admin and configure
a repository
# su admin
admin# config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End
with CNTL/Z.
admin(config)# repository local
admin(config-Repository)# url disk:
admin(config-Repository)# end
admin# show repository local
e) Run the patch installation command.
admin# patch install cpcmpatchbundle-10.0.0.40038-2.x86_64.tar.gz local
f) Confirm whether you want to save the current
configuration.
The following messages are displayed.
Generating configuration...
Saved the running configuration to startup
successfully
Initiating Application Patch installation...
Patch successfully installed.
g) Verify the patch installation using the command:
admin# show version

To uninstall the patch, run the following command on console (using
SSH with port 26) with admin as the user.
