Sikh Presentation
You’ve been volun-told teach a section of the Sikh religion to the entire class.
You and your group members have the ‘honour’ of doing a 10-15 minute
presentation in which ALL members of your group must present a portion.
There are many aspects to this beautiful and misunderstood religion. It will
be your job to enlighten the class on this topic. You may do a traditional
lecture style, skit, news report, drama, and can include videos if you like.

Khalsa
Family Life and role of women
Amritsar
Guru Nanak and founding of Sikhism
Gurudwara
Sikh Milestones (not including Baptism)
10 Sikh Guru’s
Guru Granth Sahib and Sikh Rules
5 K’s and Baptism
Baisaki and other holidays
You must have a visual, a handout, and an activity that reinforces the
concepts that you have taught to the class.
