Dear Parents/Guardians:
We are excited to let you know about a fundraiser that is getting underway at St. Mary’s Catholic School
this month. It will require no selling or money collection on your part.
We took part in a fundraiser program with the Samko and Miko Toy Warehouse last fall. This huge
warehouse is open to the public and sells brand-name toys, arts & crafts materials, baby gear, and highquality books at discounted prices. Since that fundraiser was such a success, we have chosen to participate
in this year’s Fall Sale fundraiser program.
The fundraiser is simple. When you shop at the warehouse, St. Mary’s receives 10% of your total
purchases (before taxes). This shopping must be done during our registered shopping dates – which are
October 23rd to November 3rd. When you are cashing out during this registered period, inform the cashier
that you are part of the “St. Mary’s School Brampton” group, and the cashier will stamp your itemized
receipt with their fundraising stamp. This original receipt should then be sent to school with your child.
We will collect all receipts, submit them to Samko, and receive a cheque for 10% of all purchases made.
This money will go directly back to the students of St. Mary’s, including purchases or subsidies for the
primary, junior, and intermediate students.

Please let your family and friends know about this fundraiser. They can also help St. Mary’s by shopping at
Samko during our registered weeks, having their receipts stamped, and sending them in to the school. All
receipts must be received by November 15, 2013.
