Happy Holidays!
We've had a couple of busy weeks, learning about traditions and life in other countries, talking
about our own families and holidays, reading and writing stories, learning about different
strategies when adding. The kids have worked hard and are definitely ready for a vacation.
Please check the home folder right away for the winter vacation assignments. The top page is
blue, the other pages are stapled to it. One is a fun activity involving reading in unusual
locations (the marshmallow hot chocolate) and the other is a writing assignment about their
vacation. BOTH OF THESE ARE DUE ON MONDAY, JANUARY 4.
I hope you all have a healthy and fun vacation. Speaking as an "old mom", kids only stay
little a very short time - and once they are grown, you can't recapture these special days.
