We will be having a “Market Day” on
Friday, Sept 11th. We are learning
about goods and services and also
needs and wants. Each child will
need to make a good (or product) at
home to be sold on Friday, Sept.
11th. This good can be made from
items you already have at home.
Please do not go out and spend any
money. Some examples include:
beaded bracelets or necklaces,
drawings, paper dolls, homemade
instruments (made from paper plates,
toilet paper rolls), picture frames (made
from paper or cardboard), etc. Please
just use your imagination and things
you have at home to help your child
create his/her good to be sold at our
market. This turns out to be an exciting
day for the students. It helps them to
understand the difference between
goods and services. The students will
use play money from the classroom to
purchase a good from our market. It
will be a fun day for all.
If you have any questions, feel free to
call (678-3287 or 427-2611) or email
me at
