Instructions for Tuba auditions
For the tuba audition, there are three excerpts, two from Aces by Robert W. Smith
and one from Semper Fidelis by John Philip Sousa.
If you also wish to record scales or a piece of your choosing, feel free, but it is not
necessary.
If one excerpt is too difficult, leave it out. We want to hear you at your best.
The first excerpt is moderately slow (marked Powerful).
The second is fast (marked With Intensity).
The third excerpt is moderately fast (March Tempo)
