Instructions: Imagine the year is 1435. You are a gambler and have been asked to wager
on which region of the world will eventually win the “Historical Super Bowl” and
dominate the globe. The choices are Western Europe, Sub-Sahara Africa, the Islamic
world (centered on Southwest Asia and North Africa), the Indian Sub-Continent; the
Pacific Rim including China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia; North America; or South
