Pesticide research Assignment
1) You are going to write a one page summary (double spaced
typed) on a recent article (05’ and on) about pesticide use or IPM.
Your article should be a minimum of three pages. Copy the article
and highlight or underline all the terms in the article that are also
found in your notes and text book (pages 249 – 281). Attach your
article to your summary.
2) Find, read and copy an article (2-3 pages) about one of the
pesticides listed below. These are just some of the persistent
chemicals like DDT that the global community has agreed to phase
out. Many others are banned in the United States.
Read the article and highlight or underline the problems that the
pesticide cause. Also highlight or underline when and why the
pesticide was banned in this country. You do not have to write a
summary.
